About Mohit Jain - SEO Expert

Mohit Jain is an SEO and link building specialist with over 15 years of experience in helping businesses improve organic search visibility, build authoritative backlinks, and generate consistent leads through SEO.

I began my journey online by taking on small freelance gigs—primarily tasks such as data scraping, compiling spreadsheets with email contacts, and gathering product pricing information. These early projects served as stepping stones, helping me understand the mechanics of online work while earning my first income on the internet.

Very quickly, I realized that online freelancing was not only legitimate but also a viable way to generate consistent income. However, over time, I also recognized the limitations of these entry-level tasks. Data collection and repetitive manual work were not only time-intensive but also unsustainable in the long run, offering little scope for growth or skill development.

Some of the very first projects I successfully completed include:

Data Capturing for Website  — Very good communication and fast work

Converting a book to a website — Excellent work, stayed with the project to the end to perfect it. Would definately recommend these workers.

Distribute Articles to EzineArticles.com – Great worker – made the changes I wanted in terms of formatting when posting some articles for me. Will use again.

After a few months, I transitioned into content writing. Even at that stage, I had a strong command of the English language and believed that writing would offer better returns for the time I invested. I soon began working with clients from the UK, Malaysia, and Australia, producing original, handwritten articles—typically 500 words each—for a modest fee of USD 2 per article.

However, this phase was not without its challenges. I clearly remember a difficult experience early on, when an Australian client—whom I was working with for the first time—not only rejected my articles due to poor grammar and writing style but also dismissed the work entirely and refused payment. It was a harsh but defining moment that forced me to reassess my skills and improve my craft.

Despite this setback, I continued to refine my writing and successfully completed several projects, including:

That said, it became increasingly clear that earning USD 2 per article was not sustainable for building a long-term career. While content writing helped me get started, I soon realized that I needed to move beyond it if I wanted to grow and scale in the online world.

2010 - The Early Days of SEO

2010 – The Beginning of My SEO Journey

Once I realized that content writing alone would not provide sustainable income, I began exploring opportunities that offered better returns for the time and effort I invested.

During this phase, I connected with an Indian professional, Pushkar Gaikwad, who initially hired me for content writing projects. He was the first person to introduce me to link building and SEO as a whole.

I still remember the first time he asked me if I could build links—I had no idea what that meant. He offered me a small test project and guided me on the basic process required to complete it.

I completed the task and submitted my work in a spreadsheet. Shortly after, he called me and pointed out numerous mistakes in my submission. It was a difficult moment, but instead of giving up, I explained that it was my first attempt and that I was willing to learn. At the time, he was paying $0.50 per link, which I saw as a valuable opportunity.

From there, we went on to complete dozens of link building projects together. Through this hands-on experience, I began to understand how SEO actually worked—particularly how targeted anchor text links could influence keyword rankings over time, ultimately driving more traffic and business growth for clients.

That was the turning point for me.

I realized that SEO was not just about completing tasks—it was about creating measurable impact. It allowed me to build a skill that delivered real value to businesses while also giving me the opportunity to grow financially.

Some of My Very First Link Building Projects

Studying and Understanding SEO

As I continued taking on link building projects, some clients began asking whether I understood SEO more broadly and if I could handle onsite SEO for their websites.

At that point, onsite SEO was still a relatively new concept for me. While I had gained practical experience in link building, I had not yet developed a complete understanding of SEO as a discipline. I soon learned that SEO—Search Engine Optimization—involves optimizing a website to improve its visibility in search engines.

To perform effective onsite SEO, I realized that access to the backend of a website was essential. I began learning how elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, keyword placement, content structure, and image optimization contribute to better search performance.

Over time, I refined my approach further. A few years later, a friend introduced me to a structured spreadsheet system that helped organize onsite SEO work more efficiently. This allowed me to document every change I made—capturing both the “before” and “after” states—and present clear, transparent reports to clients.

This shift not only improved my workflow but also strengthened client trust by making my SEO process more measurable and accountable.

SEO - The Impact Created for Websites

We Are Sweeter - Experiential Marketing Company New York

In September–October 2023, a New York–based client approached me to handle the onsite and technical SEO for their newly launched website. The client, We Are Sweeter, is an experiential marketing agency that had recently transitioned from an older website to a new domain and required a complete SEO foundation to establish visibility in a competitive market.

My team and I implemented a structured SEO strategy, focusing on onsite optimization, technical improvements, and keyword alignment to ensure the website was properly positioned for search engines.

As of March 2026, the results have been significant. The website now ranks for 10 high-intent keywords on Page One of Google (USA, nationwide)—a strong indicator of growing authority within their niche.

Below is a comparison of Google Analytics data highlighting the growth in organic traffic:

  • Period 1: January 1, 2025 – August 1, 2025

  • Period 2: August 1, 2025 – March 1, 2026

This comparison clearly demonstrates a substantial increase in traffic following the implementation of SEO improvements.

We Are Sweeter GA 4 - Jan 1 2025 to Aug 1 25
We Are Sweeter GA 4 - Aug 1 2025 to Mar 1 2026

Notably, the website generates traffic primarily through organic and direct channels, without relying on paid advertising such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads—further validating the strength and effectiveness of the SEO strategy.

Kinima Physio - Physiotherapy Clinic, Perth

I was introduced to Rob, the owner of Kinima Physio, through the founder of Rapid Teams. Over the years, I have worked extensively with small business owners across Australia, and this introduction led to one of my longest-standing client relationships.

In 2020, during the COVID period, Rob approached me for complete SEO services. His objective was clear: to improve the website’s visibility for a targeted set of keywords while ensuring it effectively connected with his local audience.

We began by focusing on a core group of 10 high-intent keywords, combining onsite SEO, content optimization, and ongoing link building to strengthen the website’s search presence.

Client since 2020 – 6+ years of ongoing SEO partnership

What makes this project particularly meaningful is its longevity. From 2020 through to 2026, I have continued to work with Kinima Physio—demonstrating not only consistent results but also long-term client trust and satisfaction. A single referral evolved into a six-year professional relationship.

Today, Kinima Physio ranks organically for several competitive keywords, including:

  • Physio North Perth

  • Physio Perth

  • Best Physio in Perth

  • Physio Near Me (Perth area)

Below is a comparison of Google Analytics data highlighting the growth in traffic:

  • Period 1: January 1, 2025 – July 1, 2025

  • Period 2: August 1, 2025 – March 1, 2026

This comparison demonstrates a clear upward trend in organic traffic following sustained SEO efforts.

Case Studies

Case Study #1 - Allen House Dental Clinic

Allen House Dental Clinic engaged me in 2019 to improve their search visibility and strengthen the onsite SEO performance of their website. While the clinic already had a well-designed website with dedicated service pages in place, the underlying SEO structure required significant refinement.

Challenge

The website included pages for key dental services such as teeth whitening, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and dental implants. However, these pages were not fully optimized for search engines. Keyword targeting was weak, and there was limited alignment between the content and local search intent—particularly for location-based queries such as “root canal treatment in Crewe.”

Additionally, the website lacked essential trust and conversion elements that help both users and search engines understand the business’s local presence.

Strategy Implemented

To address these issues, I implemented a structured onsite SEO and content optimization strategy:

  • Conducted a full audit of all service pages to identify gaps in keyword targeting and content relevance

  • Optimized content to improve keyword placement, search intent alignment, and topical depth

  • Enhanced service pages using accurate dental terminology to establish authority within the niche

  • Strengthened local SEO signals by clearly integrating location-based keywords

  • Added Google Maps with a precise location marker to reinforce local relevance

  • Integrated clinic timings and booking links across all service pages to improve user experience and conversions

  • Built high-quality backlinks to strengthen the website’s authority

  • Monitored Google Search Console to identify and resolve indexing and technical issues

A key focus of this project was ensuring that each service page clearly communicated both topical relevance and geographic intent. For example, optimizing pages for queries such as “root canal treatment in Crewe” required not just keyword placement, but clear signals that the clinic actively serves that location.

Outcome

The improvements resulted in a significantly stronger SEO foundation for the website. By aligning content with both search intent and local relevance, the clinic was able to improve its visibility for key dental services in its target location. We had a total of 15 keywords on Page One of Google UK. Keywords like dental implants clinic Crewe (position #1), dentist Crewe (position #2) and root canal treatment Crewe (position #3) meant that the business was more often than not ranking above its closest competition.

Optimized multiple service pages for local search intent, improving visibility for high-intent dental keywords in Ipswich.

More importantly, the addition of trust elements—such as location signals, Google Maps integration, and booking functionality—enhanced user engagement and contributed to increased patient inquiries.

This project reinforced a critical SEO principle: it is not enough to simply have service pages—those pages must clearly communicate relevance, authority, and location intent to both users and search engines.

Case Study #2 - CapStack Asset Finance

CapStack engaged me to restructure and optimize their website for long-term organic growth, with a clear objective: improve search visibility, strengthen keyword targeting, and build a scalable SEO framework capable of delivering consistent results.

I began with in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent, revenue-driving search terms aligned with their core financial services. Using this data, I restructured the website architecture and developed dedicated service pages, each strategically mapped to specific keywords to maximize topical relevance and search visibility.

A key focus of this project was ensuring that every page was aligned with both search intent and service-specific targeting. This involved creating a clear content hierarchy and optimizing each page to reflect how users actually search for financial services online.

Every element of the onsite SEO was engineered for performance—from clean, SEO-friendly URL structures to content optimized for both user experience and search engines. I also implemented site-wide enhancements, including high-converting title tags and meta descriptions designed to improve click-through rates and overall visibility.

The result was a significantly stronger SEO foundation, with improved site structure, clearer keyword alignment, and enhanced crawlability. I was tasked with working on keywords such as ‘equity placements’, ‘office development loan’, and ‘bridging finance Melbourne’. As a team we ranked ten different keywords on Page One for the Melbourne region in a span of three months.

Developed and optimized multiple service pages aligned with high-intent financial keywords, creating a scalable SEO framework built for long-term rankings.

More importantly, CapStack now has a website designed to scale—capable of supporting sustained rankings and consistent organic traffic growth over time.

This project reflects my core SEO philosophy: Build systems that compound results—not tactics that fade.

Case Study #3 - PrinteeSG: Blog

I began working with PrinteeSG, a Singapore-based apparel and jersey printing company, towards the end of 2020 during the COVID period. The objective was to strengthen their online presence and build a sustainable source of organic traffic.

PrinteeSG keyword ranking Report

Over the years, the engagement evolved. By 2024, while continuing our ongoing SEO work, I expanded the scope of services to include a more structured, content-driven growth strategy.

To identify growth opportunities, I conducted a detailed content gap and keyword gap analysis. This helped uncover high-potential topics and search terms that were not yet being targeted. Using these insights, I developed a strategic content plan focused on capturing relevant search demand within their niche.

As part of this process, I leveraged AI-assisted tools to streamline ideation and planning, generating a weekly blog calendar along with targeted article topics aligned with user intent.

Over a period of approximately 18 months, we consistently published close to 50 blog articles. This steady execution led to measurable improvements in organic visibility, with multiple blog pages ranking on Google.

👉 Achieved first-page rankings for competitive keywords, including “football jersey” (Position #8), through a structured content and SEO strategy.

This project highlights the power of combining data-driven SEO with consistent content execution to build long-term organic growth.

Case Study #4 - We Are Sweeter: Onsite

We Are Sweeter keyword ranking Report

We Are Sweeter contact me through the freelancer.com platform. The company headed by Grant and Kim Healing needed someone to perform onsite SEO for their website. I first ask them what keywords they think businesses would generally use to find an experiential marketing company like their’s. They had pages like brand ambassador, event production and so on while what they wanted to be found for was terms like experiential marketing company, experiential vehicles, glass box truck, airstream trailers and so on.

Frankly they had no pillar pages for these service offerings. Yes, they had a great new website with excellent design, great photos of their brand activation campaign but no pages where they could tell what they do and how. They have hundreds and hundreds of images and none of the images had alt tags.

So we did a complete site audit report and began writing title tags, meta description, image tags and a lot more. We then created service pages for glass wall truck, experiential vehicles, branded airstream trailers, branded vintage Citroën etc.

Once all the pages were created we then began the process of internal linking so that visitors can discover other services that We Are Sweeter has to offer. This ensures that visitors do not leave the website without knowing more about the company.

Today We Are Sweeter has 11 keywords that are ranking on Page One of Google nationally.

This achievement has lead to a organic traffic and real leads for the business. In the month of March 2026 the PGA Tour contacted my client for their services and their email message read “We’re looking to do a branded airstream pop-up coffee activation at the Truist Championship PGA TOUR Tournament in Charlotte.”
